Research Projects at LUCSUS

LUCSUS is initiating and coordinating transdisciplinary research proposals for comprehensive research programs, mainly EU funded.

Since LUCSUS is an umbrella organisation, it can create research coalitions with any department at the University on a project by project basis.

Research at LUCSUS is currently organized in research themes. Each theme consist of an interdisciplinary group of senior researchers and PhD students.

The interdisciplinary aspect of LUCSUS is centered around four research themes:

  • Problematisation of Sustainability Science
  • Sustainability assessment tools
  • Sustainability and politics
  • Sustainable livelihoods
