Anna-Karin is the coordinator of the Lund University Initiative on LEP and she also conducts research on Legal Empowerment of children through the implementation of Child Rights in, to and through education (see Research Projects »).

Anna-Karin has a background in Law and a Master in Human Rights from the Raoul Wallenberg Institute and a PhD in Sociology of Law. Her research interests include Human Rights, Legal Empowerment, “norm-generating processes” and “legal systems” (cf. systems theory).
