SUMMARY:Don't panic. Do something! Do it with Clarity…
DESCRIPTION:Contact: bernadett.kiss@iiiee.lu.se\n\nClimate change is not on
ly a scientific or political issue.&nbsp\;It’s also deeply emotional. So
me feel worry or grief. Others feel anger. Many feel overwhelmed – or no
thing at all.Grounded in an extensive literature review and tested through
the Erasmus+ project CLARITY – Teaching for Transformative Climate Resi
lience – one insight stands out: it is not always anxiety that dominates
in classrooms\, but apathy – a sense of distance\, of “it’s too big
” or “it’s not my problem.”What happens if we take those emotions
seriously instead of ignoring them?About the eventThis one-hour interactiv
e event shares stories and practices from CLARITY\, a project working with
educators and their learners aged 6-26. CLARITY explores how education ca
n address not only climate facts and systems\, but also the emotional and
relational dimensions that shape whether and how we act – or withdraw.Du
ring the session\, we will:Share stories from classrooms where teachers an
d students work with climate emotions\, imagination and collective actions
.Introduce the CLARITY Toolbox and Teachers’ Guide.Invite participants t
 o a short (voluntary!) exercise.The session combines storytelling\, brief
reflection and research insights.&nbsp\;Participation is voluntary and doe
s not require sharing personal experiences.&nbsp\;Open to everyone – edu
 cators\, students\, professionals\, parents\, and the general public.If th
is conversation sparks something for you\, you can also join us the next d
ay (16 April\, 10:30–11:30 at IIIEE) for a longer Practice Lab where we
go deeper into tools\, dialogue\, and how transformative resilience can be
embedded in education and sustainability initiatives. No pre-registration
required.Learn more about the CLARITY project and download literature revi
