 on-makers from Kenya. At the heart of the event is Taboo Waste\, a short f
 ilm set in Kisumu that follows the sanitation workers who empty pit latrin
 es\, and shows how menstrual waste is making their work harder\, heavier\,
  and more stigmatised.After the film screening\, we will convene a policy 
 dialogue with panellists including representatives from the Kisumu City Go
 vernment\, the Kenya Ministry of Health\, the Global Menstrual Collective\
 , academics and local workers.Together\, we will discuss what it will take
  to make this work visible\, dignified\, and safe. We warmly invite practi
 tioners\, researchers\, advocates\, and policymakers to attend and contrib
