LUCSUS Seminar: Post-Covid-19 transitions: A new social contract for sustainability science?

Seminar
What does Covid-19 mean for sustainability science, do we as scientists have a role and responsibility in a post-Covid transition? How can sustainability scientists in their roles act to support and engage to build back better? How might this happen in a way that supports resilient, sustainable local economies/movements and inclusivity? Are there some general insights that we have to offer?

Welcome to a LUCSUS seminar with professor Emily Boyd, where she will present ideas on a paper she is preparing for Global Sustainability on Covid -19 and sustainability science.

During the seminar we will also discuss (in small groups) one core element of sustainability science that affects us, significantly fieldwork and have a problem solving session on thinking about how we can turn face-to-face methods into a different mode. How will that affect our research quality, ethics and our subjects/context of study?
