LUCSUS seminar: Urban Futures
Welcome to a seminar with LUCSUS researcher Barry Ness accompanied by other project leaders.
The theme of this Thursday LUCSUS Seminar is to present the Mistra Urban Futures Project. We will present the motivations and structure of the broader, international project. Furthermore, we will describe and discuss the ambitions and activities of the project’s local interaction platform in Skåne (SKLIP) and located at LUCSUS, including an overview of the nine local and comparative projects that are a part of the platform as well as individual presentations from each of the “expert panels” that makeup the flagship activities at the SKLIP: Sustainability Neighborhood Development; Urban Migration, and Urban Ecosystem Services.
There is no preparatory reading for the seminar; however, a wealth of additional information about the project can be found at:
Mistra Urban Futures is an international research and knowledge Centre for sustainable urban development. We believe that the co-production of knowledge is a winning concept for achieving sustainable urban futures and creating accessible, green and fair cities. https://www.mistraurbanfutures.org/en
