Tilly Laestander
Project assistant
I hold a BA in International Development from Lund University and completed a joint master’s program in Nordic Urban Planning at Roskilde University, Malmö University, and UiT The Arctic University of Norway. My master's thesis focused on climate mitigation strategies in Swedish municipalities. I have always been deeply committed to issues such as human rights, labour rights, climate action and affordable housing. I have been involved with these issues both in my free time through civil society organisations and in various professional roles.
Currently, I work as a research assistant at Lund University, collaborating with four professors across different departments. My role involves using the method of horizon scanning to track developments and fostering connections between research and the public, private, and non-profit sectors worldwide, with a focus on exploring the future of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) beyond 2030.
