To strenghten the visibility of LUCSUS, and LUCSUS research, a number of key research areas have been added to the LUCSUS website. The aim is to make it easier for external researchers, funders and other actors to locate and familiarise themselves with the different research areas in which LUCSUS has many publications, projects and people connected to.

The key research areas represent particular strands or topics of research that have either been a focus for LUCSUS researchers for many years, resulting in a range of  projects and publications, gathers many scholars, or have emerged as a specific focus with substantial, longer-term funding.
