Magdalena Wiedermann
Project Assistant
Magdalena Wiedermann has a background in Plant Ecology with a particular interest in plant-soil interactions, biodiversity, and ecosystem response to global change. She has a PhD degree from the University of Umeå and worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Michigan Technical University. Durning almost 20 years of teaching in various university courses at the University of Vienna, -Umeå, -Cincinnati and at SLU Alnarp she acquired a versatile tool set of different teaching techniques, and approaches to communication and learning. Besides working as teacher and researcher, Magdalena has previous experience from working as project coordinator in a large, interdisciplinary Biodiversa funded project focused on "inclusive conservation" and as the coordinator of the Gothenburg Global Biodiversity Centre.
I enjoy working in the intersection between natural science and social science and I’m excited to contribute to several interdisciplinary projects at LUCSUS as project coordinator.
